Currently LOVING

I hope everyone had a busy and productive work week! With the weekend right around the corner I wanted to share with everyone one of my favorite things to do, explore Fall foliage in the Philadelphia area.

Unfortunately, we have not started seeing too much of the leaves changing yet and this is due to Pennsylvania beginning to see peak foliage later and later every year (ahem...climate change!), which means this year you can expect it to peak in mid to late October. I guess the good part is that you don't have to drive all the way to New England to see good scenery.

Some good local spots to see around the city are The Rodin Museum, The Navy Yard, Laurel Hill/West Laurel Cemetery, Wissahickon Valley Park (one of my local faves), Fairmount Park, Awbury Arboretum, and Bartram's Garden. If you're up for a little bit of a drive, then Nockmixon State Park, Bald Eagle State Forest, and even the Poconos (where I have a vacation home) are some beautiful places to explore. Before we know it snow will be falling and we will be jumping into the holiday season. Enjoy the Fall while it lasts and I hope everyone has a great weekend!
