Here goes….Rehabbing?

Let’s be straightforward, real estate can be intimidating! I have taken the journey in several aspects - purchasing as a first time home buyer, upsizing from the first home with a renovation, being a landlord, then becoming a seller, and most recently being an AirBnB host! While all have had their challenges in some ways, they’ve all been great learning experiences and have increased my desire to do more! Soooo naturally, the next journey for me would be to rehab a property from dilapidated status to something with charm and style that I can proudly say that I designed it all myself! Besides, I would hope that as an agent, I would have some insight as to what buyer’s would want!!

I will be sharing my journey with all of you from beginning to end - diving into the good, the great, and the wtf moments. I don’t expect this to be as easy as HGTV makes it out to be, but I do hope to learn a ton about the ins and outs of rehabbing, following a budget, understanding nuances with the city and L&I (license and inspections), and choosing finishes and fixtures. I think this can be the start of something, but you never know unless you try, right? First up comes clean out and demo, so stay tuned as to what things I come across during this initial phase of the project!
